The first time Klaus walked into this club, he did it with the intention of getting absolutely plastered and finding someone to go home with for drunk, sloppy sex that would distract him for a few hours. He did not accomplish either of those things. Before he could get too drunk, he spotted someone interesting and was taken back to his place for some very fantastic mind-blowing sex that immediately set a bar so high that no one else can reach it.
If, on that first night, someone told Klaus that the next time he'd be walking into this club would be on the arm of that very same man, some three months later, he'd have laughed in their face.
But that is exactly what's happening. When Klaus realized how long they'd been doing this, he told Obi-Wan that he thought it would be fun to go back to that club for another dance. It only occurred to him hours later what he had just proposed: celebrating an anniversary. Thankfully, he was at home by the time it happened, and he was able to freak out and talk himself back down in private.
In Vietnam, Klaus counted the months. It was a way to keep track of how long he'd been away from his own timeline, and also how long he'd had Dave in his life. Each month was silently acknowledged, quietly celebrated and agonized over in equal measure, but it was never anything he gave a voice to, or talked to Dave about. He just counted them until he got to ten, and then there were no more.
By the time that Obi-Wan picks him up, Klaus has calmed down (thanks in part to a blunt he panic-smoked on his balcony) and dressed himself in black leather pants and a wine-colored button down shirt, with only the button at his sternum fastened. Seeing Obi-Wan makes him feel as excited as he did when he first mentions it, and he feels silly for getting himself so worked up. They're just going to have some fun.
They arrive at the club and get their wrists stamped, and Klaus is more then relieved to get inside where it's warmer. The music thumps in his chest and Klaus grins, bouncing a little as he grabs Obi-Wan's hand and drags him inside.
"Why did you come here that first night?" Klaus asks once they're at the bar, tilting his head to look at him curiously. "This isn't your usual scene."

Jealousy is just a human flaw, and Klaus tells himself that it isn't a mistake to have felt it. That happens from time to time, and it's how he reacts to it that's important. He does what Obi-Wan has taught him. He examines the feeling, sits with it a bit, and then lets it go when he realizes that it's foolish and unnecessary. He thinks Obi-Wan would be proud of him.
"You would have been happy with her," Klaus says, because he can admit that. He can hear it in Obi-Wan's voice. He smiles softly and then takes a long drink from his class, feeling the slight burn of liquor in his throat.
no subject
But still happy. At least for a time. From what he's learned, Order 66 had applied not only to Jedi, but to all those who were Force sensitive. Even if he left the Jedi Order, a time would have come when the world would have come rushing back to him in an unpreventable manner and he can't possibly know how it might have played out. Who would have survived and who might have died.
There's no point in dwelling on such things. The decisions are made and in the past and no matter what he might think of, there is no undoing what's already been done. He doesn't know that Satine would have been happy either, not knowing he had left the Order for her.
He runs his hand up Klaus's leg, then back down again and smiles over at him. "I'm happy here," he says.
no subject
Klaus doesn't know the last time that he was truly happy. Maybe that means that he never was. Sure, he had fun. He had good times while traveling the world, met interesting people and had great sex, ate amazing food, but he was never actually happy. The closest that he ever came was, sadly enough, in the middle of a war.
And now, he thinks. He's happy now. He has Obi-Wan and most of his siblings. They're growing closer in ways they never did growing up, and he's met this wonderful man who cares for him, and teaches him things. A man who will trip someone just to have a good place for them to sit close together.
"I think I am, too," he says with a touch of wonder in his voice, as if he's just now realizing it. Klaus smiles, chuckling softly and kissing Obi-Wan again. "I really am."
no subject
Enjoy this moment, then the next and the next. Creating an entire life of moments.
"I imagined your siblings would say the same," he adds. "They all seem to care a great deal for you."
Five is the only one who's been slightly more reticent on the subject, but Obi-Wan has spent nearly his entire life learning to read the reticence of Mace Windu, so he thinks he can say with certainty there's a lot of affection there, too, running under the surface. Allison, Vanya, and Ben, on the other hand, all have wonderful things to say about Klaus and about each other.
They're family in the same way Obi-Wan and the other Jedi he grew up with are family, he realizes. Siblings in name, because they had been thrown together. He likes that. Finding a family is sometimes more meaningful than any other sort.
no subject
But that's changing, mostly. They're learning how to exist around each other not as children forced to be together, but as adults who want to be together. It's a beautiful thing.
And so is this. Klaus smiles over at Obi-Wan and then sits up, removing his knee from Obi-Wan's so he can turn to lay across his lap, settling back against the wonderful little seat that he's made with his crossed leg. He hooks his own legs over the other arm of the chair and settles in happily, looking up at Obi-Wan as he takes a sip of his drink, cheeks hollowing around the straw.
"I've also become very enamored of a man," he admits, holding his hand up next to his mouth as if he's sharing a secret. "That makes me happy as well, even though he's quite sassy at times. Very good in bed, though."
no subject
It warms him all through his body, hearing Klaus's words. Enamoured. He's never felt as if the affection he feels is one-sided, it has never been a concern for him, not with all he and Klaus have shared, but it still does something to actually hear them. To know for certain, to have them spoken in Klaus's warm, happy voice.
"I was never a man who banked on second chances," he admits. "It's not the Jedi way. We focus on the present, acknowledge what we are experiencing, what we can control and letting go of what we can't, but I cannot pretend having this second chance isn't wonderful."
no subject
It's not as hard as Klaus initially thought it would be to say things like this to Obi-Wan, to admit that he's enamored, because it doesn't quite feel like a risk. He knows that it's mutual, because Obi-Wan's affection for him is so obvious that it's even able to work through the shield of Klaus's own self-loathing. It cannot be denied.
"Wonderful," Klaus repeats, smiling as he sits up a bit to give Obi-Wan a soft kiss. Or, he meant for it to be a soft kiss, but it ends up lasting longer, going deeper, until Klaus is licking into his mouth and tasting the lemon from Obi's drink on his tongue. Someone nearby lets out a wolf whistle and Klaus smiles into the kiss, nipping Obi's bottom lip before leaning back into the cradle of his lap. "Sometimes I just can't help myself."
no subject
This was never meant for him. He never thought it could be and yet here they are, no matter what he may have thought. To be wrong is such a wonderful thing, he's found, to constantly be learning is a gift.
He would have left the Jedi Order for Satine, had she asked. He would do it now for Klaus if he did.
At the sound of the whistle, he chuckles against Klaus's mouth, the both of them settling back into the seat. He sips at his drink, gaze flicking toward the person who had whistled out of curiosity, then back toward Klaus again. His hand is still at the back of his neck and he grins as he shakes his head.
"Oh, I'm more than happy with that," he murmurs. "In fact, I prefer that you can't help yourself."
no subject
Even here, in a club full of all kinds of stimulation, lights and music and sound, beautiful bodies moving together, but Klaus can't look away from Obi-Wan. Klaus smiles as Obi's fingers slide into his hair, dragging along his scalp, and he practically preens at the attention as he sips from his drink. He feels truly decadent, lounging across Obi-Wan's lap like a spoiled house cat, and he couldn't be happier.
"Ah, so you're an exhibitionist," Klaus says delightedly, reaching up to trail his fingertips along Obi-Wan's jaw before sitting up to kiss him again, shifting his drink to his other hand so he can wrap his arm around Obi's shoulders. "That's interesting information."
no subject
He knows what the word means, of course, but when he thinks about someone watching him, someone looking at him in an intimate moment, he isn't entirely certain what he feels. If he were to be pleasuring himself, he thinks he would like very much to have Klaus watching him. If it was the two of them together, he isn't as certain he would want someone watching them, although he supposes they would have to examine the specifics of the situation before he could make a decision on the matter.
"I might be," he allows. "Under the right circumstances."
His smile grows wider, his head tilting as he studies Klaus, the way the lights flash, accentuating Klaus's cheekbones, the light of his eyes, the bow of his lips. "Are you?"
no subject
"I might be," he says with a teasing smile, quirking one eyebrow. "Under the right circumstances."
Truthfully, the thought of someone watching Obi-Wan fuck him is sort of thrilling. He's never been shy, and he's had sex in front of others before. It was fun, but not something he ever really specifically sought out. What him and Obi-Wan do together is akin to art, and good art should be appreciated.
"Maybe a quick one," he says after a moment, because he and Obi-Wan don't just fuck. They also make love, as cheesy as it sounds, but Klaus has now learned that there is a difference between the two. Klaus smiles and scratches his fingertips through Obi-Wan's beard, twisting a bit of the hair at his chin between the pads of his fingers. "You do see parts of me no one else does sometimes, when we're together like that. Things that I wouldn't want anyone else to see."
His smile grows, and he gives Obi-Wan's a beard a playful tug. "But a nice rut? Yeah, that might be fun. I do love to show off, obviously."
no subject
There are times in which they're quick, a little desperate, moments that are truly about sex more than they are about the emotional connection they've also made. More than, really, but not entirely without the emotional side of things. At this point, Obi-Wan knows there really isn't any separating the two, not any longer, although he's not sure there was ever really any hope of that.
But there are times he wouldn't want to share with anyone else. Most times, really, if he's honest. Yet it's possible. There might be something between them he would be willing to share with someone else, at least at a distance.
Another conversation to be had, not in the middle of a loud dance club, and for the time being he presses another kiss to Klaus's mouth, a firm kiss, and then he grins. "It might be fun," he agrees. "For now, how does another dance sound in terms of showing off?"
no subject
He's distracted from that particular thought by the kiss, holding his drink out to the side as he lifts his head to return it happily. Obi-Wan pulls back to smile at him and Klaus can't help but to return it, touching the tips of their noses together as he nods.
"Ah, exhibition lite." Klaus laughs and polishes off the last of his cocktail as he stands up, setting the glass on a nearby table before holding his hand out for Obi-Wan. "Let's boogie, darling."
no subject
People make room for them. Obi-Wan doesn't use the Force to make it happen, he doesn't know why it does, only that the crowd parts a little and then closes in around them once more, enclosing them in their own little space in the midst of all the rest of the dancers.
"I don't like this music," he admits, laughing close to Klaus's ear. "I understand it's good for dancing, but other than that..." He trails off, shrugging. He would rather listen to almost anything else he's come to learn having been in Darrow. Most of that is music Klaus has introduced him to.
no subject
"It's not good for much else but dancing. Or drowning out thoughts," he replies, dragging his fingers through Obi-Wan's hair and gripping the back of his neck. "But you move so well to it."
He grins against Obi-Wan's ear, nipping at the lobe. "Makes me want to try and find a quieter corner of this place to drag you off to."
no subject
Which they often did. But trouble meant, too, they weren't usually finding quiet corners.
"If you can find one, I'll certainly follow you there," he says and while his voice is still low, he has it pitched to be heard over the music and he speaks close to Klaus's ear to make absolutely certain Klaus knows what he's saying. Not that he's terribly worried about it. Klaus understands him in ways some might not expect and it's part of why he's so content to be about him.
no subject
The song ends and Klaus takes Obi-Wan by the hand, leading him through the crowd and down the hall that leads to the restrooms. They pass those doors and keep walking until Klaus comes upon a supply closet. The door is locked, as to be expected, and Klaus looks around before turning to grin at Obi-Wan.
"If you would be so kind," he says as he reaches out to jiggle the knob. "I left my lockpicking kit in my other pants."
no subject
For the door, however, he does need the Force and for a moment he imagines the sheer disapproval of the Council should they know what he's doing now. He hides his smile and looks at Klaus, then the doorknob, then down the hall. With a wave of his hand the doorknob clicks and suddenly it swing inward, revealing what seems to be a supply closet.
"And what's this?" he asks, raising his eyebrows. He takes Klaus's hand again and steps inside, as if he's merely going to investigate. "A quieter corner."
no subject
Though the music is quieter here, Klaus can still feel the thump of the bass and it only serves to heighten his arousal he feels as he leans in for a kiss, pressing their bodies together as he licks into Obi-Wan's mouth, tasting sugar and liquor on his tongue.
"All the better for me to take advantage of you," Klaus teases, biting gently at Obi's lower lip as he slides his hand under Obi's shirt, scratching through the hair on his chest before giving his nipples a hard pinch. His mouth travels along Obi's jaw and down to his throat, kissing across to Obi-Wan's ear. "I think I might want to suck your cock."
no subject
It makes every touch of Klaus's hands, the press of his lips, the way he pinches Obi-Wan's nipples feel like so much more. His skin is sensitive and his hands move down, curving over Klaus's ass and squeezing through the leather.
The words Klaus speaks against his ear are wonderfully obscene and he moans in response and thinks, again, as he does so often lately, I love him. Every time he thinks it, it feels less dangerous. Every time he thinks it, he comes nearer to saying it. He hadn't said it often enough to Satine, had instead relied on her understanding of him as a person to simply know it.
She had deserved to hear it said properly. And so does Klaus.
At the moment, however, he feels rather dumbstruck and all he manages to say is, "Klaus, I-" before they're kissing again.
no subject
They've been together so many times by now, but it never stops feeling exciting and new. This is one of the many reasons that Klaus knows that Obi-Wan is special. His affection for Obi-Wan is not based solely on the sex they have, far from it, but he can't deny that it's a part of it. There has only ever been one other person that Klaus felt hungry for time and time again, and Klaus thinks that he knows what that means, what it's a sign of. He thinks it won't be too long before he's itching to say it out loud.
But for now, he kisses Obi-Wan again, deeply and desperately, hips rocking forward as Obi's strong hands squeeze at his ass. He drags Obi-Wan's shirt up and ducks his head to kiss along his chest, licking at one of his sensitive nipples before pulling it between his lips, sucking and then biting before sinking gracefully to his knees, grinning up at Obi-Wan as he reaches up to open his jeans.
"You're so fucking beautiful," Klaus breathes out, staring up at Obi-Wan's face, taking in the sweep of his hair and the blue of his eyes, looking almost awed by him. Overwhelmed by his affections. After a long moment of simply staring at him, Klaus swallows hard and pulls Obi's cock out of his underwear. He's half-hard and Klaus's gaze drops to his gorgeous cock as he thumbs at the foreskin, leaning in to press a kiss to the head of his cock, feeling the foreskin draw back as it stiffens further.
"I like feeling you get hard in my mouth," he admits, just before wriggling the tip of his tongue just under the foreskin, suckling at it a little before pulling the whole head into his mouth, lips tightening around it as he looks up at Obi-Wan's face.
no subject
He has no regret. It would be pointless. His life as a Jedi has been rewarding and fulfilling. He's traveled, met many incredible people, helped worlds avoid civil war, helped them abolish slavery, helped so many people in so many different ways and he had loved every moment of it. But there are times when he's reminded of just how much he gave up to be the Jedi Master.
No longer.
His hands glide along Klaus's shoulders, fingers curling in the material of his shirt as he lets his head fall back against the door behind him. Klaus is speaking and the low tone of his voice paired with the thumping of the music sends a rolling shiver of pleasure down his spine. "Stars," he says on an exhale, tipping his head to the side so he can look down at Klaus as he takes him into his mouth.
no subject
Klaus presses his thumb to the spot at the underside of Obi's cock where it meets his body, rubbing there and stroking down over his balls as he starts to bob his head, keeping his eyes on Obi's face as he does. Eventually he lets his hand fall away, cupping Obi's balls as he relaxes his throat, winking up at Obi-Wan before swallowing him down, taking Obi's cock into his throat slow and steady, until his nose is buried in the soft thatch of hair above his cock.
And then he's lost in the taste and scent of Obi-Wan, lashes fluttering as he moans in pleasure, sliding his other hand up under Obi-Wan's shirt as he takes a moment to simply revel in it.
no subject
From outside in the hall, he hears nothing but the music, though he could swear there was someone out there. Then, almost frantic, two women laughing as they hurry away. They've been heard, but Obi-Wan doesn't think they're going to be turned in. He doesn't think he cares. If they're to be caught, he'll deal with that when it happens, but for now all he can focus on is how good this feels.
"Klaus," he moans, winding the fingers of one hand through his hair, combing it back from his face. "This is so good, you... you're so kriffing good."
Everything about him makes Obi-Wan feel this way. It isn't only the moments like these, but the ones in between. The dancing, the laughing, the way Klaus drapes himself over Obi-Wan's lap. The mornings in the warm sun where Klaus sleeps and Obi-Wan meditates or reads before making coffee to wake Klaus up. It's everything.
no subject
"Exhibition lite," Klaus says again, voice low and ragged, before he pulls back enough to grip Obi-Wan's hips and turn him around to face the door. "Turns out I like people hearing you moan."
With a grin, he tugs down Obi-Wan's pants and underwear enough to expose the perfect curve of his ass, giving one of his cheeks a sharp bite before spreading him open with his thumbs and leaning in to drag his tongue over that tight curl of muscle. It's suddenly so important that he get inside Obi-Wan right here in this dimly lit storage room, that he make Obi-Wan shout out with pleasure.
He buries his face between Obi-Wan's cheeks, licking him open as he reaches between Obi's legs to fist his cock, stroking lazily as he presses the tip of his tongue eagerly against Obi's hole, working it inside with a content hum.
