Klaus looks over at Obi-Wan talking to the kid, and he can't help but to smile at the reassurance Obi-Wan offers. In the beginning, Klaus had been a little surprised by his constant kindness, but not anymore. Now it just makes him smile.
"Oh, thank you, darling," Klaus replies, laughing happily before wiggling his fingers over the display and choosing a few colors to suit his moods, and a nicer black ink pen for general use. He takes his choices up to the counter and slaps Obi's hand before he can even make a move towards his wallet. "I'm getting this. It's for me."
Yes, Obi-Wan is going to teach him about meditation, but Klaus wants to do as much of this as he can himself. After paying for the notebooks and pens, Klaus gratefully takes the paper bag and says goodbye to the kid before moving towards the door.
