"Hello, Elio," Obi-Wan answers, smiling at the young man gently. The sense of loss is heavy in Graymark Books and although Obi-Wan doesn't know whether Elio and Magnus knew one another, whether it's that loss or another, he can still tell the young man has lost someone rather recently. Perhaps the work is distracting to him and that's why he's here.

Obi-Wan nods at Klaus's words and tells Elio, "Klaus is about to embark on a journey toward learning how to meditate. In the past I've found that keeping a journal can sometimes help people when they're new to the practice. I know where they're kept, though, you needn't worry yourself."

At this point, Obi-Wan knows where most things are kept in most of the book shops he's visited. And something about the way Elio is holding himself means Obi-Wan doesn't want to trouble him terribly much if he can help it.
