He's healing. Obi-Wan stares, slightly awed by the sight, as the wound on Klaus's chest slowly and carefully begins to repair itself. It may not happen immediately, the wound still looks ferocious and terrifying, but it is healing, and Obi-Wan places his hand on Klaus's chest over the place where, less than a half hour ago, he had been desperately been trying to keep his blood from spilling out.
"I thought you were gone," he says when Klaus pulls him close again. "I thought this was it."
And, as ever, Obi-Wan would have gone on. But he doubts very much he would have loved anyone again. Not like this. It had taken decades and a particularly special person after Satine, he can't imagine ever finding such a thing again.
