When Obi-Wan pulls away from him, Klaus has to remind himself that it's just so they can get out of the car and get inside. After blowing the driver a kiss, Klaus takes Obi's hand and follows him inside, relieved to find the lobby ended. It's the time of night where boring people are already in for the night and the fun ones haven't come home yet. It's this middle ground that Klaus has come to live in with Obi-Wan, and it makes him feel free and safe at the same time.

Once they're in the elevator, Klaus presses the button for their floor and then grabs Obi-Wan's hands to turn him a bit, pressing him back into the corner that he happens to know doesn't show up on the security camera.

"I've always wanted to do this," he says with a grin, kissing Obi-Wan hungrily as he reaches over to hit the emergency stop on the elevator, sending it grinding to a halt as Klaus drops to his knees, tugging his skirt up over them so he can spread them wider.

"I am very difficult to hold onto," Obi-Wan teases, rubbing his hand up and down Klaus's back slowly. He drags his fingertips over Klaus's spine, then back down again, bumping over each vertebrae gently as he goes.

He's quiet for a moment, thoughtful, then he says, "I never imagined I would have such a relationship either. With Satine, it was impossible, as I've told you. And then there was so much else going on in my life, not the least of which was my responsibilities to Anakin. There was a war and for three years, all I thought of was trying to defend the Republic."

But Darrow has changed everything. Everything.
