As he speaks, he's crawling onto the bed, still dressed, to join Klaus. He settles between Klaus's thighs and leans down, putting most of his weight on one forearm he braces on the mattress beside Klaus. Then he smiles, still just looking at Klaus, at the familiar eyes looking back at him, even though the body has changed.
"What a strange and wonderful life we have here," he says, then ducks his head to kiss Klaus's mouth, his chin, the edge of his jaw.
