Obi-Wan’s hand covers his own and Klaus turns to look at him, lower lip quivering slightly as he speaks. The words make his eyes sting and gloss over slightly, which he’ll blame on all the new hormones, but really it’s because Obi-Wan is so sweet to him, always. Even when he’s being a brat.
He swallows hard and nods a little, pulling his arms out from under the blanket to wrap them around Obi-Wan’s neck as he leans in. The kiss is soft and Klaus closes his eyes as he adjusts to the differences. Their mouths don’t fit together quite the same, but it still feels natural. Kissing Obi-Wan is still the easiest thing in the world.
And he does feel reassured, and perhaps a little contrite. What Obi-Wan feels for him, what they feel for each other, is so far beyond the physical. Sometimes he just needs to be reminded that he has worth beyond what he looks like, and Obi-Wan has done just that.
He stops thinking about how quickly he can get Obi-Wan between his legs and just enjoys this moment instead, holding onto the man that he loves and indulging in the rare experience of getting used to kissing him all over again, soft and slow and tender.
