"Well, we have each other now," Klaus sighs out, resting his hand on Harley's knee and giving it a squeeze. "Two messes are better than one."

He's already feeling a little better just for having her here with him, and then she says that and Klaus blinks in surprise before squeezing his eyes shut tight before turning his head to bury his face against her chest.

"That's so ooshie-gooshie." Once he's certain that he isn't about to cry again, he lifts his head and looks at her for moment, planting a kiss on the corner of her mouth before wrapping his arms around her. "But thank you. I am mighty fond of you too, sugar. I hope you know that."
