"Where I'm from it's called Galactic Basic and it looks different in writing, but yes, they are essentially the same language, aren't they?" he asks as Klaus settles onto his thigh. He brushes back a stray curl that's escaped from his bun, then smiles down at him as he considers the languages he knows.

When he speaks, Obi-Wan has no idea what the words mean, but he listens intently all the same, enjoying the rising and falling cadence, the emotion Klaus infuses into each and every word he speaks. It's lovely, truly lovely, and he doesn't know if this is French or Spanish or something else entirely, but he knows he could listen to Klaus speak this way for as long as he would want.

"That's beautiful," he says, curling down so he can press an upside down kiss to Klaus's mouth where he's lying in his lap.
