When Obi-Wan tips up his chin, Klaus looks up at him a bit helplessly, eyes shining as he leans in for a kiss as soft as any that they've ever shared. It's beautiful.
He mentions Satine and Klaus reaches up to curl his fingers around Dave's dog tags, thumbing at the indentation of his name. Loving each other does not mean that they love the ones that they've lost any less. They've just made more room in their hearts to feel something new.
And then Obi-Wan says something truly remarkable. He says that Klaus is easy to love, and Klaus can't help the tears that well up in his eyes. Easy to love. It sounds impossible, but Obi-Wan says it like he means it, and Klaus can't imagine why. He's a mess. He's done such awful things. He's an addict who can't commit to anything.
But Obi-Wan loves him still, and he thinks it's easy. A tear spills down Klaus's cheek and he quickly wipes it away, laughing softly at himself. "I love you, too."
