Obi-Wan catches the pants when Klaus tosses them to him and looks at them for a moment before breaking into a pleased smile. He undresses, laying his clothing over the back of a chair and then pulling on the soft pants Klaus had bought just for him. Jedi don't celebrate holidays, they don't celebrate birthdays, and so Obi-Wan has never really been given gifts, especially for absolutely no reason. But Klaus had thought of him, had bought these pants to give to him for when he stayed over here.
"These are very comfortable," he says as he settles on the bed across from Klaus. "Thank you."
His smile grows a little sheepish and as he reaches for the water bottle, he says, "I didn't mean to say it like that in the middle of the club. It just... came out." He hadn't planned it at all. The words had simply come out and while he had thought them many times before, he's not entirely certain what about that moment caused him to actually say them out loud.
