Hearing Obi-Wan say that he's happy makes Klaus smile, soft and pleased, and he reaches out to put his hand over Obi's on his leg, sliding it up the inside of his thigh as he leans over to give him a lingering kiss.
Klaus doesn't know the last time that he was truly happy. Maybe that means that he never was. Sure, he had fun. He had good times while traveling the world, met interesting people and had great sex, ate amazing food, but he was never actually happy. The closest that he ever came was, sadly enough, in the middle of a war.
And now, he thinks. He's happy now. He has Obi-Wan and most of his siblings. They're growing closer in ways they never did growing up, and he's met this wonderful man who cares for him, and teaches him things. A man who will trip someone just to have a good place for them to sit close together.
"I think I am, too," he says with a touch of wonder in his voice, as if he's just now realizing it. Klaus smiles, chuckling softly and kissing Obi-Wan again. "I really am."
